Me neither. But I'll give it a chance listen online and see whether I like it.

Actually, if he came to a small club in Santa Cruz I take that back, I'll buy a ticket. But I'm not driving to San Francisco unless it's really good.

how old were you in the early 90's? im sure plenty of older people took notice. it sold over a million copies in the u.s.... you're also over looking what he did with the black crows in the late 90's.

and he can still play people under the table...keep in mind this was only two weeks ago

He can obviously still play, but I'm not that impressed--he just played the same song that he's played for 45 years now or however long it's been.

You would go to see an icon one one of the true legends of this genre in person for what might be the last time ever? Really? Come on.

Expectations would be low but I would go. Saw him last at the Rock Hall inductions for Beck (who sounded great btw).

" white-haired rock dinosaur Jimmy Page"

:laugh2: harsh

I believe they were paraphrasing sid vicious because he called the guys from led zeppelin "dinosaurs of rock" or something like that back in the day.

I'd have to see it to believe it. And then I'd have to hear it to find out if it's any good. And then I'll have to wonder if he should have even bothered.

I'll bet Jimmy and Ronnie have a long-standing bet between the two of them.

Page might not have the chops that he used to, but I'd bet money that he can still write music fairly well. If not better than he did back in the day. We'll see if it actually happens.

I'd say the opposite. He can still play his ass off, but can't write for **** anymore, hence his limited output since the demise of Zeppelin.

And he's had other things on his mind lately :thumb:

Resource mining, she hit the jackpot. Nothing will get a womans legs apart faster than a big, juicy, fat wallet.

'Cause he's Jimmy Page!

Is it so surprising to see a young woman being drawn to an older famous rich man?

Oh, and the Earth is a spherical planet.

True. It's a biological imperitive really. Women are attracted to what a society defines as 'successful', 'alpha male' types.

A girl can't help it!, lol

To think of it, a guy can't help it either!
