i need the experts help

i´m offered a first run jimmy page les paul(which is from the mid 90s i think) with the gold hardware

any owners on here or anyone who can give me some infos on em

the guitar is used but in nearly mint condition
and the price is pretty reasonable 4.500 dollars(converted from euro, since the sellers from the old world) but still a hell of o alot money for me
but i guess that guitars worth it since the top is killer

Sorry, but in my opinion it isnt worth nearly that much, but just my opinion. Maybe 2K tops. Really nuthing special about the 90s ones. Just a basic 90s STD.

I agree not worth it at all, not like Jimmy's at all just had push pull pots and his name on it he sued them because it was not like his number 1 at all even the color.

wow, he sued them for that? Got anymore info on that? I heard the 90's Page was first supposed to be a new LP custom made for him. Then, gibson pitched him a deal to make it a sig model. The first one that was made was a prototype that Jimmy OK'd. Some guy has the whole story on the internet somewhere. I read it a couple of years ago.

Now on e-bay, the Page Standard normally goes US$2.5K~$3.5K, depends the condition and flame top....

For US$4.5K, well, better pay a little more to get the Jimmy Page CA.

Yeah, hold off and you can easily get it for less than 3k. I think these were pretty nice guitars and I do want one but it isn't at the top of my list. I think the reason Jimmy sued them was because of changes Gibson made before production without his consent. It is a great guitar with some nice features, just not worth that much. I know he received a couple of these and have seen them in backgrounds of pictures with him and his other guitars but I don't think he has ever actually played them either live or on a recording. I know he does use his #1 Gibson-made CA copy and the Griffin copy live at times.

Crazy to pay $4500 for the 90's Page..I just bought a JPP 04 for $5500 by way of Ebay. Was a No-Bid Auction that ended. I emailed him and worked out the deal. The 04+ JPP's Golden Feature is the Electronics and from what i understand the 90's Page is Just everyday Humbuckers-5somethig T's?

Look,if you have $4500,I'd suggest finding a nice R9 and forget about this Jimmy Page...You can find an R9 nowdays for as little(well relatively speaking...) as $3500.Or if you really want it,don't-I repeat-don't offer anything north of $2500 for any 90s Jimmy Page,even if it is one of the '95 first run models...On the other hand,if you really must have a Jimmy Page model,I'd suggest saving a little bit more and with $6000-7000 you can buy the real deal made by the Custom Shop...

there's a nice Page for sale in Dallas Craigslist and it's the later 200X series which is what you want, I think he wants about that much for her. If you need a link I can get it for you.

i´ve already ditched buyin that guitar since the sller wont go down with the price.
i also speculated on pushin the price a bit down
but whatever..............
