Hi
I was wondering if anyone could (and I am sure that someone will) be able to help me with something. I have the Jimmy Page mod in one of my LPs this was done using the following. Seymour Duncan 59 pickups, generic long-shafted push/pull pots, and I have 0.22 rated Luxe REPRO caps. This was done using the schematic supplied by Seymour Duncan, which suggests to use 0.47 Caps. The trouble I am having is that the tone does not clean up AT ALL when I lower the volume on my pickups.
How would I remedy this? Could anyone tell me what may be causing this and would it be possibly the fact that I need a higher rated cap?
Thanks,
GW
