Hey guys, been a long time since I posted yet another redundant question to you MIJ wizards over here
Was doing some research but it never hurts to ask.
Anyway been eyeballing this particular 54 for some time now and decided to pull the trigger.
There's a seller on "jauce" website (let me know if you need links) selling both two Greco (eg500j and eg600j) and Burny versions (all priced around $1000 - is this a fair price?). I've played and owned Grecos and Burnys before, they both rock.
Any experience with this particular model? Owners? People selling? What's the neck profile on these? I like thicker ones.
Thanks guys

I had a 77 Greco. It was over 10 lbs. The neck had soft shoulders on it and my hand felt a little funny after playing for a bit. I have definitely never had a similar shaped neck on any other guitar.

$1000 is ok, I think if you waited you could get in $700 range.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Soft shoulders? I guess it's no where near the 50s neck profile then?
Over 10 lbs? Oh wow.
$700 sounds awesome (I'm in no rush).
Maybe I should look for a Burny then?

I have an 800 I recently paid a bit less for in the states. Neck is slim. That said, solid bad ass guitar!! $1000 for a 5-600 is too much $

I was looking at Edwards too.
Slim neck on an EG800? Darn it.
Any other suggestions for a MIJ Les Paul with a wraparound, humbuckers and a bit thicker neck profile?
(I have a Burny Les Paul Special with a wraparound and P90s - it's an awesome guitar)

Maybe I should just pull a trigger on this one?

Not a wraparound but it's a fat neck and it's down to $700 + free shipping.
Any thoughts on this particular one?
Year/model? Worth it?
What do you say guys?

I just saw it on reverb and posted that link.
So the pics you see there is what I saw as well.
I'll sleep on it for sure but I'm thinking about it
Maybe one of you guys should grab it and help me save money and wait until I find one with a wraparound + fat neck? ;)

That is a really nice looking Burny although he does say it needs a fret level. You could make an offer I guess based on that.

Nothing wrong with having a regular standard and a wraptail later when you find one :naughty:

That one is not for sale anymore. Too nice to sell. Beautiful, and an incredible player. The other guitar player in my last band told me I was insane to think of selling it, and I must agree. I do have another one listed at the moment. Selling because I have (only) 2 other Burny GTs.
