The Normburst and Black Beauty were, and I think standard Epi LP production models are.

Interesting how it's got a matte finish. This almost sounds like Epiphone had a '59 package variant that they were going to release for the Thanksgiving/X'mas window, and JB was almost due for releasing his annual sig guitar and decided "hey, let's just take that and use it to fill my quota". Still pretty cool. Looking forward to polishing it.
