I have alwats wanted one of these. It is so nice to see one of these artists that actually play their epiphone sig guitar. I have seen many videos of this guy and he always seems to have one of these handy if not holding one and playing it. I just ran into this new video he just released where he is playing this guitar. Check it out....

I like the looks of it, but P90's don't work well for me. I like to use high gain pretty often. The inlays stopping at the 15th fret would gets my OCD going too.

Somebody beat me to the Bjorn Gellotte sig. He plays his and basically said his fans can't afford a Gibson so he turned them down and went with Epiphone.

This prob one of the 4 or 5 ics i Have seen of slash even near his sig model. Though he isn't playing it on stage he at least has it strapped on!!! Come on Slash lets see you playing this thing! Make me feel a little better about my self spending 875 dollars on your sig model :)

**Edit**

Oh shit is that a 59 he is holding? I just noticed that wasn't the Slash sig model!! This pic just got even cooler !!!

***Edit***

OK totally my bad guys. This isn't even slash ;( Oh well still a cool guitar though ...

I think the guitar companies need us to spend extra dollars on an instrument that ha s a national performer' name on it, but there is little to no reason to spend the extra.

I honestly don't "get" all the Slash signatures. Guns and Roses is a 90s band, and I never really liked him or thought he did anything special for the guitar except these days exploit the folks that are buying his "signature" guitars. I look at his picture and he looks like a dirty, filthy mess that hasn't bathed in 6 months. Except for his signature guitars being forced on us, he's pretty much a has-been 90s player -- I don't get it... in 20 years on the vintage market, I doubt anyone is going to give a damn who Slash was...

Also, Fender has a bah-zillion made in Mexico "signature" guitars... ugh... like they need ONE MORE Stratocaster or Tele or Jazznaster guitar model... But people suck it up... and pay more $$ for the same thing that has somebody's signature name attached to the model...

The musical merchandising fallacy is... "buy this guitar (or amp, or pedal, or wear this certain kind of hat...) and PLAY LIKE this signature person"... it is Bullshit at its best. The only true way to get talent is to practice your ass off and put in the mileage. You're not instantly going to be Robert Cray or Jeff Beck is you buy a signature Robert Cray or Jeff Beck Strat,,,

UNLESS, by chance the "signature" model comes with some kind of special switching not found on the stock, no-siggy model. I think sometimes Fender (and all the others that do siggy's these days) have just found a keen, clever way to put a price increase on "the same old thing"... Maybe some day they'll create some new cookie dough to cut some of these cookie cutter guitars, amps, and pedals (I've even seen signature guitar picks... OMG)

Here's something better... practice your ass off, become a "somebody" on guitar, and then they'll be giving you a cookie cutter same thing "signature" model with your name on it...

Well for me ,apart from being a massive GnR and slash fan, appetite for destruction was a sick album when it was eventually released in the uk I remember listening to it for the first time after going to woolworths to get it ,brilliant

and as for the signature slash model at £599 in the uk,I believe it represents extremely good value not only to slash fans but for anyone looking for a decent les Paul with a nice fattish neck profile ,and good tone

I do agree agree about practicing though, smash those hours days years in and play to 5he best of your abilities, improve enjoy have fun
