I hear a lot of disparaging things said about him by forum geetarists but the man has my respect just from the quality instruments he puts his name to.

Oh no doubt man. He may not play his sig models but he raises the bar on the build quality.

The neck was too big for me to like on the Jared James Old Glory and Gold Glory.

Oh yeah it's a big ole round neck for sure!! I like them like that just not something i would play everyday... Or maybe I would just depends on how big we are talking...?

Jared James is a great player, but just doesn't have the EVH licks in his catalog.

Yeah i think the whole thing for him was just getting to play the guitar. He said is one of five they made at the time for eddie to play out with.

Benny Goodman (Lost Symphony) also has one of the four (or is it five). Really cool stuff if you're into EVH.

Yeah that guy has cool reviews too. So was it 5 or 4 of these that were made? I guess we will never know. That is pretty cool I wounder what thing sold for? And why are his personal guitars out on the market like that anyways??

Any guitar with a fat neck is OK by me. I learned on a Kay archtop with a fat maple neck. I have three fat neck Gibsons, all entry level - '14 LPMM, '19 Junior Tribute DC and an '07 '59 Reissue MM.

Guitar Player says $120k (I think this is the one Benny has)

The other ones - one was given to his tech, I guess the one at Fretted Americana never went back to Eddie after the headstock break, and I guess others were given to friends at some point. But I'm sure throughout the years, he probably had so many guitars presented to him for testing that he probably played a few for some shows then just went back to whatever he was most comfortable with and/or required to play due to endorsement contracts at the time.

These two just did some tour dates together. I would love to have seen one of those shows! Cause you know the two of them wound up on stage together jamming!

OK one more!! So rare to see Eddie playing a LP. I have seen earlier pics of him playing his 59 with the neck pup removed but never playing a custom!!
