Oh shit man that's nice!! Love the one pick up configuration. It's a Gibson no?? One of these days I want to add one to the collection.
A used Epi. Saw it for sale at L&M an hour away and called, telling them I wanted it. It needed cleaning. There's a thread about it in the Epi forum somewhere.'57 Reissue Junior

Looking at the thread now man. Wow you have had this for a while now!! I had the TV yellow special they put out with the inspired by line. Guitar was cool. I traded it for a Southern Fade 59.. I miss that one but I think I want one of these Jr's I hear the one pickup configuration sounds really unique ???

I have 4 bridge only guitars. The Epi with a P-100, a '59 reissue Melody Maker with a lipstick tube pickup, and a Junior Tribute DC and a Squier Bullet, both with P-90s.
The Epi P-100 is a P-90 stacked on another coil, so it's a humbucker with it's own sound. It doesn't sound like either a P-90 or a PAF :)
All four have their own sound what with the three pickup types and four body types :)
I highly recommend single pickup guitars. It reduces knob twiddling when you only have one Vol and one Tone LOL.

When did they make a 22 fret one of these? Is that an ebony board? Wait that the Matt Heafey model? Ok that explains the 22 frets. Still a nice guitar man. What other features does it have to separate it from the regular Customs?

Cool guitars! I liked the black JJ but didn't like the Blues Power emblem.

I gotta say the Double and Triple Sig Era is a bit weird though…

Epiphone Jared James Nichols Les Paul…

-or-

Orville Gibson Jerry Cantrell Les Paul Wino…

Very nice indeed, for some reason I thought you had a lazuras as well
Almost pulled trigger a couple of times from GC used online but didn't. Haven't really seen a top that got my attention in a while... But with such positive reviews from a lot of our own, I'm sorely tempted!

Also, fairly confident it wouldn't get too much playing time with 60s Unburst being the one I reach for the most.

I think that waiting for a nice top is a must. Though I like mine because of the way it plays and feels. I think I would be bothered by not getting a decent top. I mean otherwise just get one of the dirty lemon 59's for 200 dollars cheaper pretty much the same guitar...

I had the Amos V and I didn’t gel with it so I sold it to a friend.

A ’67 style V is my #1, so not sure why I didn’t like it…

do have the bonamassa firebird..

Did they do an ebony board on that? I know they did a neck thru design on those models. How's it sound?

I don’t recall specs on it, it could be ebony. It sounds like I wouldn’t trade it for a Gibson.

I do recall he was adamant they build a proper firebird pickup for it.

From the pic it looks dark like ebony. I wouldn't be surprised if they do use an ebony board on these. One thing out the JB models is that they do top notch jobs on them. I love my JB Laz just an all around well built guitar.

I hear a lot of disparaging things said about him by forum geetarists but the man has my respect just from the quality instruments he puts his name to.
