Im getting this along with Gibson les paul trad 2018. Man... I played this guitar and Gibson 335 right after I played this and I literally felt no difference in sound at all. They sound almost identical to me. But Gibby had much much more of a luxurious and high end feel to it obviously! But this thing looks and sound absolutely gorgeous to me. Super excited for it!

Epiphone has upped their game in the pickups and pots. For sure. I’m happy they’ve Started making more interesting neck profiles too. The D shape was just odd.

The Bang for buck ratio is high.

Some of the material choices are the only things I question.

That pau Ferro fretboard is An odd color and shade to my eyes. I wonder if this batch of Epiphones with these fretboards will be like the early 90’s run guitars with silver plastic inlays? An odd looking anomaly.

But the Pau Ferro can easily be darkened.

i touch it everyday. had a set up done when i bought it several years ago and have had zero issues. build quality is top notch as is most epi's these days.
