It means you don't have enough room on your iPod to add all those songs.

maybe theres a partition itunes does'nt recognise.
Some computer manufactures such as HP use a partition to hold a copy of the OS to use for repairs. It not always shows up as a "D, E or whatever " Drive

could explain why itunes thinks theres not enough room

I had this same problem a while back. I deleted everything on the iPod and re-synced it (is re-synced a word?). Worked for me.

I see... Apple's software is giving you a message that there isn't enough room on your Apple device so Microsoft are the ones who are idiots. :laugh2:

That's only on the primary physical drive where the OS resides and is limited to 100MB on an HP machine. No additional partitions are added to any other physical drives.

Why are iProduct users always too lazy to even attempt to figure things out when their perfect piece of crap acts perfectly crappy?

It looks like you are trying to copy the entire library (check in box looks like >2k songs, radio dial says entire library). That could be the problem.

Check this also:

If you have movies/tv if you don't turn this off on the synch you will load up movies, tv show, etc.

Go through your preferences and make sure that some of that stuff it turned off.

I have one of those ancient first edition ipod nanos. I think it holds 4 GB. I just use it to test/play the PA system during gigs.

I got rid of itunes and started using CopyTrans. Works much better and lets you copy and delete songs the way you want.

Lol, you can't get a simple Apple app to work, and M$ are the idiots. They didn't write iTunes, but hey. All the cool kids complain about them, so....

BTW, Mac and Windows user here...when not on Fedora. I do NOT use iTunes though.

This is exactly the problem. However, let's not forget that Microsoft will often check that box to fvck with you.

Thanks Obama!
