I went to an outdoor music/bikes/BBQ fest on Friday, it was too hot to enjoy. My sister and I left early. I have trees and shrubs that I want to keep healthy. I leave a small sprayer on for the birds for a few hours each day.

OTOH, there are hardly any insects and the pollen count is very low.

Been 95-100 deg F here in Virginia the last several weeks with 90% humidity.
I was in Big Sur last week and the temps ran about 70 daytime and 55 night time with low humidity and a little breeze. Never needed the the AC. Windows down on the car and open window in the room for the night. We came back and got off the plane in Richmond and thought we'd gone to hell.

Saw Rob Schneider at a comedy club here and said it was so hot and muggy he couldn't see how a "Virginia gentleman" could walk with his balls stuck to his leg

Hot weather has returned after several drenching storms. The rain caused the drought stricken plants to flourish, Buffalo is like a botanical garden.
People with hayfever/pollen allergy are suffering.

The autumn weeds are tall and healthy, especially Goldenrod. Antihistamines are not strong enough.
