Hi Freddy, Don't take it personal. You're not responsible and you shouldn't feel like you have to defend. A business is a reflection of the individual or individuals who own it. It has a personality that reflects that.

We know from what you've said what a great owner you are and I truly believe you are. There are 1k of the Ken Lays out there for every one of you and that's before you look at our elected leaders imho.

I think the Ken Lays just get more press than the good business owners

I know a few good ones

I don't know how old you are but in the 80's the news was all about leverage buyouts. Where companies were bought out, gutted and left for dead.

Then, retirement plans were assaulted and converted to 401k plans that are such a ripoff to the working man and woman as to be laughable. What happened in the banking industry in the 90's with their AAA CDO's sent us running to the Fed in 2007 and sent us spiraling in 2008 and beyond.

These aren't the actions of just a few getting the press. It's cultural and the few are just meant to send shock waves to the many. The many that never get prosecuted. Now the crooks are in the White House as cabinet members. It's not just a few imho.

They have already linked into the Fed so the next assault on the working men and women in this country should be something else imho. We'll be right there watching without and way of stopping it. I know it sounds bad and I don't mean to sound alarmist but as a country, we just took a mighty big hit. People saw that coming too. They were the few unfortunately and not very well placed sadly.

greed at the highest level needs to be stopped and some of these bastards need to be castrated or fed into a wood chipper. But at the same time - they have so infiltrated every layer of our government it will take something big before it happens.

How do you control the "profit at any cost" mentality without restricting or damaging those trying to build a company and live the american dream?

They wont get it right anyway......................they never do. Congress hasn't done anything right in 10 years.

Some in CO are trying to turn PERA into
a 401k/Vegas, but luckily we've been able to thwart their evil plans each time.

Exxon made $44 billion in PROFIT last year. They need tax breaks why?
And we can't pay for poor people to eat?
