Well, I was already gigging in a band when we met in September 1971. She therefore did A LOT of night-clubbing with me in those early years together.

Two children in the late-1970s, and then...

My Luftwaffe research in the 1980s and 1990s, and yearly trips to Germany for a week at a time. Through all of that.

Continued research and writing up to present, with two relatively recent books out.

I'm still gigging at age 69, which she takes the absolute piss out of me for doing!

We have our 15 year-old grandson living with us permanently. So, in our late-60s we are bringing up a teenager. Now THAT is a hell of an ongoing ride!

She's still my 18 year-old rock chick; I'm still her 21 year-old guitarist! It's what keeps us both sane! Well her, anyway!
