ha...I guess you could say that. I think that he seemed to have a bit more appreciation for the other two guys towards the end. It might have been because he seemed to (seemed to) act like he felt that this was going to be the Page/Edge show. He made the comment that it was probably going to end in a fist fight. I don't think that he seemed to expect Page to ask him questions about his music. I would say that is when I noticed he was a bit more open to the other two guys.

I think Page is the musician who could deal with whatever the other guys wanted to play.

They're lucky Jimmie didn't call some tunes they couldn't have dealt with.

He knows the guitar, and he knows music. And was gentle with the two other guys who don't.

It was obvious to me, despite the slant the producer took, that Mr Jimmie Page was far and away the better guitarist of the three. That doesn't invalidate their contributions to pop music, but he gets my respect. The other two: not so much. They didn't show me anything, except they were out of their depth when in his presence, and he didn't drown them.

That they seemed to get equal treatment from some quarter I'm not sure was specified was kindness. What was the point again? Two posers can play with a great if they play with the net down?

I really wish they would have taken more time talking about their #1's. They touched on them but there could have been a ton more told about them.

I love it the more I watch it. It brings me back to when I was 10 and had no lessons... I just f'ed around with it using different things to see what sounds I could get.

The best part is how it's about the guitar being part of you. They keped it simple and nothing fancy.

Exactly. That is what struck me the most. It is the reason I started this thread actually. I was talking to my daughter about why I play guitar just the other day and explained that there is this thing inside that says this is when you are most happiest. This is the very reason I am sick of the cover band thing....it isn't me....it isn't mine. Sure they are great songs and all but there is not creative expression in playing Comfortably Numb, Honkey Tonk Woman and Rockin In The Free World for the umpteenth time. Those songs aren't mine. They belong to someone else. I think that is why I was even drawn to White and The Edge. I think that is why I even enjoyed their music. It was their art being played by the artist. Sure The Edge uses all kinds of effects but he is playing it and he had to come up with it. Sure Jack can be real primative, but its his expression of him. And Page, well what can be said about Page except pure genius. Bottom line, its something that's not within the player, but is something that's within the artist.
