ha...I guess you could say that. I think that he seemed to have a bit more appreciation for the other two guys towards the end. It might have been because he seemed to (seemed to) act like he felt that this was going to be the Page/Edge show. He made the comment that it was probably going to end in a fist fight. I don't think that he seemed to expect Page to ask him questions about his music. I would say that is when I noticed he was a bit more open to the other two guys.
I think Page is the musician who could deal with whatever the other guys wanted to play.
They're lucky Jimmie didn't call some tunes they couldn't have dealt with.
He knows the guitar, and he knows music. And was gentle with the two other guys who don't.
It was obvious to me, despite the slant the producer took, that Mr Jimmie Page was far and away the better guitarist of the three. That doesn't invalidate their contributions to pop music, but he gets my respect. The other two: not so much. They didn't show me anything, except they were out of their depth when in his presence, and he didn't drown them.
That they seemed to get equal treatment from some quarter I'm not sure was specified was kindness. What was the point again? Two posers can play with a great if they play with the net down?
