Hahaha, yessir it does.Looks dumb.
And, I never bought into the whole "fashion" thing.
Steve, calling them Sleeveless Zippered Sport Coats doesn't make them Not a Vest.LOL...no lie. I do not own a vest of any kind.
Kind of good news, some kids actually want jobs where they do things besides stare at a screen.

More High-School Grads Forgo College in Hot Labor Market
The share of young people seeking higher education slipped to 62% last year from 66.2% in 2019, before the pandemic began.www.wsj.com
It's a mixed bag in my field. I've worked with guys who were self taught and some of them were always on the cutting edge. In a way, too smart for college, but still driven to excel. Also some top guys with Associate degrees who were really solid. Then I've been assigned to mentor some kids who went to good schools but must have spent their class time nursing hangovers because they were clueless to what the job was.Saw that this morning. One takeaway for me was, the little fuckers don't feel that they need a degree to earn big money any longer (more entitlement). But, I'll avoid a rant on that rathole.
I will say this though: While I always hired people, not backgrounds and resumes, there is something to be said for the person who made an investment in their education and their skills. So, I would pay college grads more money, than I would pay non-grads.
The good news I see in that article is that more kids are gravitating to the Trades. That's good for them and good for everyone. We have a shortage of tradesmen around here. Seeing that industry grow is promising.

5.11 ain't all that.
trades. one of "our" collective 4 kids wasn't going to ever be a college kid. i got him into a trade, after 4 years of not paying tuition/books/board/food, he's making more than most 4 year graduates that actually find good jobs.Saw that this morning.
