no, for sure not, hate that kind of deals. Stuff falling off a truck is not on my list. But how could i avoid buying something stolen? OK, the dealer's receipt could be one landmark but as i sold my R9 recently, i did not find the receipt either. Alright, i could show the bookings on my account as i payed by EC-card

Agreed. Saw an ad in my local Craigslist for a 50s LP Jr in TV Yellow a while back. Pictures were definitely real; price ($6500) was definitely low (for TV Yellow). I emailed him and got the whole "I'm currently working in England, but..."

Tried to flag the ad on Craigslist, and instead of them removing it, they removed my warning ad!

I did a TinEye search and it comes up with three similar images but none of this guitar, so I guess he didn't copy and paste someone else's image.

It searched 2,1700 billion images and came up with 3

Call Gibson with the serial and alert them to the ad....If it isn't real he'll have some explaining to do. Seems like a bad idea to try and buy this to me.

I would get as many detailed pictures as you can, inside and out. If you go through e-bay and paypal you should have some degree of protection if something shows up other than what you were expecting.
