Yeah, probably....but the seller lives too far away to get the guitar by person....

A nice R8 in Europe, for below 1k...sounds "a bit" too good to be true, certainly wouldn't risk my money unless I could see it in person.

It looks right to me. My only concern, on the back of the headstock, the bottom edges look a little sharp.

Looks real to me. Ask for picture of inside the control cavity. Should be stamped R8 into the wood. Also, look for vintage style wiring and caps.

Good Luck!

I am 99% sure about the answer:

Hi, the item is located in England...

To good to be ture :hmm:, so stay far away!!!

The fact that the guitar is real doesnt mean that the seller owns it ;)!

Everything looks fine in the photos, but if you pay the 950 Euro is that the guitar you are going to get... :hmm:??? That is an extremely low price for a R8 (especially for Europe)!

How about asking for a few pictures of the guitar with today's newspaper (date visible).... a headstock/serial # shot, one of the top, etc....

This really looks like a 'too good to be true situation', but if the seller can provide something like the pictures I mentioned above you never know??? If he can't run away, far far away.... :hmm:!

Well those are pictures of a real R8, that may not be what arrives at that price tho.

why should he sell that guitar for 950Eur if he can get easily 500/1000Eur more? not even standards/trads are sold at that price.

I wouldn't even dare to make that deal! Guitar on the picture is definitely not the guitar you gonna get.

Auf jeden Fall die Finger davon lassen!

another possibility would be a stolen guitar

I heard of some idiots who stole a paganini violin in Vienna awhile ago, and then tryed to sell it for 1000EUR in a pawn shop

Guess who came to visit them... :slash:

Those look a lot like store / stock photographs that he's just copy and pasted from somewhere. There is no way that the guy knows enough about it to list it as an R8 with COA but doesn't know what it's worth.

typical case of: if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true. If i could pick it up in person in a somehow safe location, i would for sure go for it, it seems to be right. Shipped, payed by wire? No effin way!

pics look real but someone who knows so much about the guitar and is taking professional pictures would not list it for that price.

What if it was stolen, would you still go for it? I wouldn't.
