I would like to get any info or advice about this guitar. Hardware has been changed and there was some fretwork done on this. I like it a lot but I’m not sure if it’s ok or any good.

Well without s# and just eyeballing it I'd say yes,the burst back is definitely 80's style, I think they moved to one color back's in the 90's

I agree, it would be nice to see the back of the headstock. The pickups look like Shaws but they probably had covers on them when the guitar was new.

i used to own a '79 Tobacco Burst Custom...nevermind.:rolleyes:

i also used to own a '77 Tobacco Burst Standard.I loved Tobacco in those days, because my favorite guitar player played one.

The op's looks quite legit and if you have the cash,i would pull the trigger instantly. For sure it is heavy,but, so what?

i retract.not enough back shots,back headstock,back neck,control cavities,but overall,looks legit.

the thing i can add about the tobacco burst's of that day...the spray guy always did the peripheral parts of the burst dark.
