Hey, Scozz, show us some more pitchers of your Studio, so we can all eat our livers some more....
So how long have these locking Kluson Revolution tuners been around? They look great. However, do they stay in tune as well as grover locking tuners?
I disagree about Klusons, they revamped their line a few years ago and I think they are on par with Gotohs now. In fact, I like their revamped Keystones better, they don't have those sickly green buttons the Gotohs do. A lot of the bad rep of Klusons is based on the line they put out some years ago, they had metric posts and were not the best construction. Since they revamped the line I think they are fine for vintage replacements.Back to the OP. If you want locking tuners, use them and ignore those of us who don't use them. I don' like locking tuners, but I've had them come on guitars I've bought, and they do make for easier stringing and no need to learn how to properly string a post so there's no slip. I can see why people (not me) like them because they're fast and sure. As to what fits your peghead, I don't know what model Gibson/Kluson is being used these days, so I don't know what size hole is stock. IMO, Klusons are not top notch tuners, so I usually go with Grovers, or if it's a non-Gibson, Gotoh. Those and other companies all make locking tuners. I think Gotoh is doing the best work (by far) of any non-boutique company. Their 510s are great.
These are on my wishlist. I personally like the look of these knobs over the Kluson’s. You can do a little better getting them from:Are you looking for ones that will replace vintage styled ones? And not need new holes?

Hey scozz, It’s almost your twin in my PRS.
Thanks Rando375 for the info. I appreciate this as I did not even know these were out there. Does Kluson make the Gibson Deluxe tuners for gibson?
Hey scozz, It’s almost your twin in my PRS.
My month old 2019 Traditional has tuners made by Ping, marked “PW” on the reverse. They’re definitely not the same quality as the older Tone Pros. I immediately changed them out for Kluson Deluxes with the conversion bushings. A major improvement.I’m pretty certain that the Gibson “Deluxe” 10 mm bushing bolt tuners are rebranded Grovers made by Ping. A little while back, they used Kluson branded Tonepros.
My guitar wouldn't sound like Jimmy Page no matter what tuners I put on it...OK but... Jimmy Page, Man, Jimmy Page!!!
Have you thought about Jimmy Page?
