is the sheraton II an upgrade over E355 Pro

Looking at getting a 335 type guitar and like the look of the ES-335 pro and have come across the sheraton II.

In the UK there is a £150 difference in price.

Is the sheraton worth the extra. I note that according to the epi specs the Es335 pro now has the upgraded pro pickups. Dont know what sort of pickups the sheraton has.

I've heard really good things from members here about the ES-335 Pro. When it comes to Sheratons, look for the older MIK models with the 5-piece laminated neck, not the newer cheaper mahogany neck versions with the 2 scarf joints. I think I heard they were going back to the laminated neck, not sure if they've done that yet or what might still be in your local stores. I have the Pro pickups in an ES-339, and they are better than the current standard Epi pickups, plus you get coil-tapping with the Pro model. If it were me, I'd get the ES and use the extra coin for a fret level and setup.

I can get a mint second hand sheraton including gig bag for an extra £80 over the price of the 335 pro.

I actually rather the colour of the natural 335 over the sheraton but do like the bling of the sheraton. Ultimately the sound counts to me though and it seems the 335 pro has some updated pups
