I have had them in chrome. Made some threads about it. Use the search function.

How do these work? Do you put the thumbwheel into the back of the tuner and then lock it as if you were using a lock and key, or do the thumbwheels stay in permanently?

EDIT: Used the search and found some pics of them. They definitely don't float my goat.

Are you having problems with your Studio going out of tune? All three of my Gibsons don't really need locking tuners. I've been happy with the stock tuners.

No, I just appreciate the simplicity of them for quick string changes. Just something that's nice...
