Hey all!!

Been lurking here for about 4 months now and learning lots from all of you!! I'm a regular on VR and TGP as well, and see some familiar faces here!!

How's THIS for an introduction?? Just arrived today... It's my very first Historic, and I couldn't be more THRILLED!! I've had about 10 or so LPs over the years, and they "just weren't for me". Well, this R0 is!!

The only thing I've gotta figure out is the coil-taps... ALL 4 knobs have coil taps, and it seems that the Vols split each coil. I'm guessing that the bridge Tone knob is a phase-switch? And then the neck tone knob seems to be a "kill switch"? When I tap that one, no sound comes from the guitar at all. I haven't found much online about this particular configuration... Any ideas? She is indeed an R0 as opposed to the G0 with the taps...

Anyhow here she is!! Hope ya like her! :thumb:

Oh yea baby! That's what I'm talking about!!! Love the Lemonburst finish...my favorite BTW! Love Love Love the mineral streaks...my R9 has the same streaking but a little more towards the PU selector switch, I'd post some pics but don't want to hijack. You know that guitar would have probably been finished as a gold top back in '60 b/c of the mineral streaks but I think it adds to the appeal.

HNGD!!!

Awesome guitar! I have the same model. Its a 2010 50th anniversary guitar center limited edition. It is basically an R0 with a flame top and coil split, phase, and kill pots. Try the middle pickup position with the bridge pots pulled and bridge tone all the way down. It does a great cocked wah sound!

Here's mine, our serial #s are really close too.

Hey THANKS for that great info, Blup!! I really appreciate that! Yours is SICK, man!! WOW!! I DID notice the coked wah sound by accident when I was playing her for the first time before I posted this... AWESOME TONE. Thought maybe it was my wacked-out ears, so good to have some validation of what I was hearing. Thanks so much for the background info!!

And thank you ALL for the welcomes and kind words!! I'm all kinds of jazzed about this guitar!! I love the mineral streaks, too. Always have dug those.. It's been a GREAT NGD!!! <fingers are actually sore LOL>

How much? Where do they sell it? I want one like this (maybe a different color). I want one with all those switches too.
