Erosion of liberties is bad for EVERYONE, regardless of where it happens.

I'll even go a step further. UK and US have extradition treaties. Laws pertaining to interweb items, don't always care about 'borders', since the interwebs span them. Not too far fetched to see UK judicial system going after US citizens for these things, assuming the US says, no problem allie.

And by the by, a civil suit is NO way as liberty infringing as incarceration. Not even close.

Good Point, but I wouldn't worry too much - statistically you're much more likely to get incarcerated by your own evil liberty suppressing government than our evil liberty suppressing government. It's a lot harder to get a custodial sentence here than you have been led to believe...we just don't have the storage space and our courts are gutless in reality.
