Interesting "picking" device

I thought this might be cool for recording purposes. I like the sound of it on an acoustic, not sure if I'd use it on an electric.

Something like this, I can recall seeing it before. They made these for acoustics too like in the 50/60s. Reminds me of what you would find on an Autoharp like a Zithern.

I feel like this is a product of the 'guitar hero' video game craze. I get that those sounds are different than if you used a pick or fingers, but I think I would feel like I do right now as a hit the keys on my keyboard, but instead of letters on a forum, they'd be musical notes. Call this young man a bit old fashioned if you will.

Sounds like it would be good for flamenco/Spanish style of playing. Although if you were new to guitar would destroy your picking technique. :laugh2:
