That's a cryin' shame. I've always known him from Neil Young first, I know most people dislike Neil but I've especially liked it when they've worked together. I think his first pro gig was on "After the Gold Rush" when he was 18 or so.

Hell holds a special corner for instrument thieves. Taking away someones tools that they make their living with is just beyond f'ed up.

I think it was the Georgia band DrivinNCryin that recently had someone hook up their trailer full of basically everything at a hotel and abscond with it. Also happened to a guy I know here in town out of his driveway. Happens with construction trailers all the time.

Many years ago someone broke in my house when I was in college and stole a Twin, some stereo receivers, 2 Fender Rhodes cabs, a Gibson bass and a cloth bag full of pennies. Sitting in the middle of all this on the couch was my 73 Deluxe which I still have. Not long after someone robbed the BBQ joint next door and killed the guy running it. Better lucky than good.
