I just wanted to share a couple thoughts that you all might appreciate. I've been playing for over 35 years on and off and have owned and used a number of different guitars, but never got around to buying a Les Paul, as much as i loved the tone and beauty of them. I have owned several Sgs but that was as close as i got. Last week, i purchased a Tribute Plus in VSB. Im not sure what happened or if its possible after so many years to be "re-inspired" as the case may be, but my interest in playing and specifically my new Les Paul now borders on obsession. I've never wanted to play so much in my life. I don't know if any of you were inspired in the same way by your Les Paul, but there's just an indefinable something that makes you almost sad to put it down. Just my two cents about the most inspiring guitar in the world(that's truth, not hype).
