Something about the holidays.

Makes me buy gear. LOL, gear I don't really need.

I had liked the cut of this model's jib since they were announced. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine.

I like red Les Pauls,
I like gold hardware.
I like the Headstock inlay (like my Lee Malia)
I Like the abalone and pearloid inlays.

This model just does it for me. Not quite as much as the Lee Malia, but it will make a perfect partner to the LM.

And I realized I don't have an actual straight HH Les Paul. Have an Agile that is, but 2 P90 Gibson LPs, the Epi Lee Malia, is P90 and HB.

Love my Fender Strat I got not to long ago. Like my SGs (though might be selling the Gibby 60s trib, depending on how this LP turns out). But, I really am an LP guy.

And Sweetwater recently got some of these in again (or finally).

So, coming soon a Epiphone Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit - Cherry.

Semi-Limited edition to commemorate Les' 100th B Day anniversary.

24k Gold hardware, and TRC plated.

Limited-edition Les Paul to celebrate Les's 100th birthday
Cherry Veneer
24K gold hardware
Abalone and pearloid inlays
Zirconium "i" dot inlay
Grover Imperial tuners
ProBucker humbuckers deliver PAF tone
Case

Like this one (they had two left, one I bought was a little darker, and had much smoother grained fretboard)

Congrats. I have an Epi Custom Pro .. I like everything about it except the Probucker pickups... I'm already thinking rewiring 50's style and putting in a pair of Golden Age Parson Streets humbuckers..

I've had Probuckers before. They actually sound pretty darn close to the Burstbuckers they are copies of. But, I can see how they aren't everyone's cup of tea.

Fantastic looking guitar! I've had one of those in Natural a click away from ordering at least 5 times, but I keep backing out because I'm trying to save for an R8...

Oh, yeah. Those are beautiful.

I'd love one in the Natural finish, but the Cherry is sweet, too.

Too many guitars, not nearly enough money...

The neck probucker sounds OK, the bridge, however, is pretty weak, IMO.

Oh holy moly, damn, like the look of that as well, a lot.

Yeah have seen one on a site which shows more figure and the pricing is in between the 100th and the reg. custom pro.
Does not come with a case ,could be the price diff.

I will look for that site again.

I could see how some player's taste would see that. My Lee Malia has a hot Bridge, so a more PAF like output is actually what I want.

And they sound pretty good (granted YouTube quality etc, etc) in these vids. I know the BB Pros I had were very sensitive to height, so we'll see.

Granted, not the same guitar, but they are all Customs with Probuckers.
