Incoming NGD: Orpheum OR20 steelbody resonator guitar

I've wanted to do some acoustic blues in hand with the electric blues I normally play, and I have some songs I've written that seemed to me to lend themselves more to good acoustic blues, but I couldn't find an acoustic guitar I liked until now.

These are the seller's pictures (this is an eBay score!); the guitar should arrive in my hot little hands some time between 24-31 June. (I'll take some fresh pics upon arrival!) It's an Orpheum OR20 model and it not only sounds wonderful (I've heard demos enough of this guitar to convince me!) but it's the single most beautiful resonator I've ever seen in my life:

Thanks truckermde! I've never seen any resonator with patterns like that cut into the cone cover or for the sound screens, whether metal body or wood body. I can't wait to get her into my hot little hands!

I have a wood body Gretsch resonator that I absolutely love, but someday I want to add a steel body to the collection. Anyone that likes the blues needs a resonator (or two). Very nice score, I hope it sounds as beautiful as it looks. HNGD.

This guitar has a great rich deep sound. The perfect excuse to start learning slide and open tunings in earnest! (Though she plays very nicely in standard tuning, too . . . but for some odd reason I tuned her to an open D minor to begin and was really getting off on that when having my first workout with her . . .)
