I suppose I should wait until I have it in my hot little hands, but I just made the deal and this guitar is just too handsome for me to wait. (I know how good the 335 sounds, I've tried several out already!) These are seller's photos; I'll be taking a bunch of my own when she arrives . . .

Update: The guitar is in Las Vegas now and will arrive to me between 2 and 5 p.m. my time today! And, yes, new photos will come . . .

The first thing I want to play on the guitar when it arrives is Charlie Parker's "Cool Blues" . . .

and then a few of my own pieces . . . ;)

I know people like red but IMHO a natural finish 335 is da bomb.

Congrats. I'd be firing up some blues and play for hours. :bowdown

I did just that last night; well, I just spent major time spinning out some of the jazz-side blues I began writing and playing a few years ago. I even wrote a new such theme on her this morning. That's how much I'm bonding with this masterpiece of a guitar!

Sweet! I like the black binding and block inlays.

Man, that one is a beauty!

I've bonded so deeply with mine that I'd even be willing to swap one of my beloved Les Pauls for a second ES-335 in a heartbeat. Maybe, daring to dream, one such as this . . .

Two is better than one.

Dot Reissue, slim neck, bright hot Tom Holmes 450/455s

1959 Reissue, fat neck, warm, sweet, clear, mellow MHS II pickups
