That looks fantastic! What does it weigh with the chambering?

WHOA - that’s a stunner! One of the best looking LPs I’ve seen in a while. Where are you getting that from - dealer or private seller?

AHAH - What a beauty.

And, as we both know, taming GAS is like taming a wild animal.

You can keep it quiet for a while, but you cannot calm it down.

Merry Early X-Mas! :applause:

It was from a dealer. I paid for the privilege to purchase...

.... but I kept coming back to that top. With all the grain lines and imperfections I thought it looked like a top Gibson would have painted gold back in the day.

I think it looks mighty fine.
I don't like most of the the perfect flame tops.
And it's gonna look a little different with regular lighting and your arm covering the
top part playing it.

More pics when it comes in please!

Not frequent this R6....:)
Psychologically an R6 is 'Goldtop' (with all the variants of gold, green gold and so on, with its share of supporters who only see the historically correct)
However it is beautiful with that flamed top

With the dark brown back I think it was supposed to represent a '56 that had a top only refin.

With all the imperfections one could understand why it would've originally been a GT.

That's what really drew me to this one.

Picks on arrival for certain Bobby!

Congratulations! That is a gorgeous CR6!
when the Cloud Nine's first came out, I bought 3 of the first 60 and loved them. You will really enjoy that piece.
"Merry Christmas!" ;)

@C-4
Were those first three a handful?

I owned CR6 4008 and CR6 4016 from the Cloud Nine intro and both had massive necks.

008 was .95" at the first fret and 016 was .98" at the first. Neither exhibited any shoulder to note. Just big rounded necks.

Were yours in the same way?

Have never seen a P-90 Burst historic before, what a majestic instrument.
