Ordered from the Dell Outlet. I got an XPS 13 - 7390 2-in-1 Laptop, 16gb RAM, 512gb HD, Windows 10 Pro, and 3840 x 2400 display. I opted for the 1 year drop protection. $1379.80 out the door with the additional President's Day coupon.
Sounds like you found a viable working solution.

When you get your computer, I recommend reinstalling the Operating System. This will eliminate any bloatware/annoying programs that come with the PC. It's so easy with Win10.

Dell support will even walk you through it if you call them.

:laugh2: Not sure if you're serious or not.

My DNS requests are routed from my local computer to my raspberry PI server. It does a white list / black list analysis and approximately 4 million domains are routed to 0.0.0.0. If the DNS request is not black listed then the Pi will respond to the DNS request, and if it does not have the DNS entry cached it will then go out to the Internet for a typical DNS lookup.

So a website might have code in there that wants to send information to some.wellknown.tracker.com and my computer might route that traffic to 0.0.0.0 (nowhere) (by intercepting the DNS) as opposed to sending it where the website wants it to go.

Largely just being a tool, trying to be funny.

We all read that stuff and take it for granted. Imagine your dad, or someone with ZERO knowledge of compters reading it... LOL

Against my heartfelt protests (sick Apple person), my daughter gave our grandson an ASUS zenbook two years ago, for Christmas. He really loves it and it gets a good workout with school, work and games. Like you, I'm sure he'll replace it with another ASU when the time comes. It is a great laptop!
It's a manly laptop...

 what is it with you crazy people that have 50 tabs open at once. Holy shit. I usually have like 10 open, tops.

You can't even tell what they are with a ton of tabs open, each tab is a little sliver, you can't read any identifier on it.

ya'll are crazy. :laugh2:
what i dont get, my computer says i have 15 Opera tabs open, i only have one open!

wtf..

Whoa i forgot about signatures!

...

I've seen windows do multiple instances of a program in task manager if the computer goes to sleep often. Like if i don't turn my laptop off for a few days but i close the lid a bunch of times.
