Got a Marshall Sv20H to pair with my Gibson Les Paul 60s Standard. Swear I am bonding more and more with this guitar (sorry if you are bored of seeing photos of it on this thread haha)

As an update to my NGD post in this thread a year and a half ago...
I traded the AAA Iced Tea model for a Vintage Burst 335 Satin yesterday and am pretty happy with the decision. I have been jonesing for a 335 for a long time and the Les Paul was not getting played. It was a pandemic purchase out of boredom, more than anything I think. I've wanted to add a semi-hollow sound to my collection for a long time so I figured I should pass the LP along to someone who would play it more and get something in my hands that I would play more. Long & McQuade gave me a smokin' deal on the trade in value - presumably based on what they are selling used guitars for these days - so the time was right. Plugged her in to my Twin Sister yesterday and played AC/DC riffs for hours - when a guitar automatically sounds like Malcolm when you plug in, that's my happy place!

This guitar never ceases to amaze me. Perfect neck, very low action thanks to excellent fret work, excellent tones and a fantastic appearance! Not to mention an insane tuning stability! The intonation is also spot on!
I think it has ruined all other guitars for me.

Hello,
I'm looking at the LP Standard 50s and 60s and have a question about the pickups in the 50s. Guitar Center and Musician's Friend say that the Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s have Probuckers. Every other website says they have BB1/2. Have the pickups in the most recent 50s LPs switched to Probuckers?

AFAIK they were always Probuckers on the '50s
