I see now. Thanks for the clarification, I'm still trying to learn about Gibson from the 2012 - current models.
2012 to 2019 was a bit like normal life in 2020

Since I am not a fan of the naked pickup look I would put it back on with a strip of electrical tape between it and the bobbins - that cured a microphonic Gibson pickup for me.

Here is a beautiful Standard 60's. Light at 9lbs and a beautiful top. You just have to hope that Gibson did what they were supposed to do with it and Sweetwater actually goes through there checklist to make sure all is good before it ships out. The current Unburst selection is not much of an unburst, more like a plain top so you might as well get a Classic and save some money.

My bridge pickup started getting mega microphonic, it was awful. So had to remove the pickup cover to fix. Not sure how I feel about this look, don't want to be Jimmy Page wannabe or something. What do you guys think?
Dude this is an insanely gorgeous LP. That top, it has it all - the flame, the grain, the mineral streaks, the pattern. I like heavily flamed tops, but I think that unique, memorable tops are even better, and this is for sure a great one. Never gets old looking at it, you know?

My 2021 Standard 60's in Iced Tea.
Faber bridge, tailpiece, and studs.
550K pots, PIO caps and a pair of PAF replicas from Mojo Pickups UK.

A bit of clouds to change the light, and the flames steps in the background showing the grain.

EDIT: It's a 2021 not a 2022. The heat is screwing my senses :)
