So, as a true rock n' roll fan since I was a toddler, and mostly a guitar worshipper, I feel like I'm gonna get my right shoulder tattooed...

My idea is to tattoo the words "Rock n' Roll" in some cool font. I still ain't sure about including Page's Zoso under the words. What do you guys think?

Oh, and the thing about getting yourself tattooed is to make sure the guy with the ink didn't get too high before doing the job. Otherwise you might end up with one like this:

Shoulder is prime real estate. 1st tat is not usually your best or favorite. Save it for the OMG idea you need to express.

To some I am considered "heavily tattooed." I ruined my right shoulder with some bad tattoos. That being said it was not my first or my second tattoo. My first tattoo I actually still like 14 years later. But I agree shoulders (arms in general) are prime tattoo real estate. Think long and hard about what you want. I have rock-n-roll tattooed on my right calf. I got a lot of shit for it. But I was also a skater punk growing up and mostly played in shitty punk bands and refusing to get a band logo tattooed on me.

I only wanted one so on my 45th birthday I got one I had been planning for awhile. It is in the middle of my back and really only seen by anyone when I am not wearing a shirt. It has much meaning for me as it brings in many of the things I love. My wife, kids, acoustic guitar and love of blues music are all represented in the one tat. This is likely the only tat I will get, but I really like it and that is what is important. I know tattoos are not for everyone. It has a Taylor guitar headstock by the way!

He's getting a tattoo, so apparently, that is a decisive YES.

My only advice is do not go to a discount tattoo guy or girl.You get what you pay for when it comes to ink.
The shoulder is a great place to get a first tattoo.
