Tim T here at the gateleg. HUGE DAY. I rested well last night. The first time since 2008. No more schemes. Black Keys are off the hook. They are not worth my sweat. Dan who?:laugh2:

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I'm Done With R+R,Now I Can Play R+R

I'm funny. I get obsessed. I live the OBSESSION. The past 5 years I have LIVED+BREATHED R+R. Every spare moment.Tweaking set-lists,thinking of banter, ordering sharkskin jackets,,,,,,,,,,,

Today I awoke. No feedback in my ears. Fezz was at peace. Fezz represents the Dionysian side of me. Destructive +restless. I finally "reasoned" with him.

Fezz?
Yeah.
Let's rest,promo was a success
OK
For real?
Sure, I'm done playing for DOPES
Me too,why bother?
I realized the gig was up ,when "we" saw our drummer on I95.My heart skipped,MUST JAM+GET GIG, then I felt flat? Screw that. I'm done chasing THE GIG. I want to jam with LINK+GAINES+JIMBO+
Right on Fezz. GREAT work.

Fezz is happy now. See how easy it was? Play to his massive ego. Why should he grace slobs with his glory? They are DRUNKS.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????

So wait, I'm Tim T now?
Any echoes?
No

Fezz?
"Yeah, I ALWAYS here. Need SLOP+FUZZ guitar just say HYLIOPOP 3xs."
Ok.

What to do now? I know< play ELECTRIC guitar. I can relax now. I can learn cover songs. Play with my FUZZ pedals. I can root for other guitarists now.

GO MAL!GO VASCO!GO JOEY DEEEEEEEEGGGGOOOO!

What guitar to play?
What song to learn?
What FUZZ to engage?

So much ROCK fun

I fall into traps. I MUST do this or that. Becomes work. If one's hobbies create STRESS it is time to change-up.

We are told to never quit. There is glory in completion. BS. There is glory in diversity. Keep pounding your head against the same door. It may open eventually, but will you have any blood left?

Oh crap, Phillies game tonight

I know, I'll become a pro baseball player. Time to hit the batting cage:laugh2:

Tim T/Fezz laughs. Now what?

I go to the gym. I get back,

RRRRRRRRrrrrrriiiiinnnggg

"Yeah?"
"Tim, Johnny here."
"Johnny J what's up."
"Wanna jam?"
"No, I'm cool. Let's have a cookout soon. We will record in Oct."
"Sweet, I got tons of gigs to play."
"Nice J, I'm done with that. Just wanna record."
"I don't blame you."
"Cool, J, I'll hit you up in July, make ribs."
"Sounds good. We will record in the Fall/Winter."
"Yes we will. I'm going to chase tones till then, watch the DRUNKS,stay sober."
"No urge Tim. I just go to the smoke."
"Great J, that won't kill you."
" Peace bruddah."
"Play that RD*"

John's brother, Chris Kickster x-SPACECHRIST guitarist, gave John his RD Artist. John made it passive. It has lovely tone. EVERYBODY gives John guitars. He is an OK guitarist, nothing special<GREAT BASSIST best in Philly<

Spring Dickens <CRAZY ANTI-HERO friend? Gave John 2 Sg Customs=Gold +Wine-Red
Chris Kickster - gave him 80 NORLIN Cust, RD Artist
I gave him Sabu's Strat for a year.

Strange stuff he calls today to tempt me? Is it the DEBIL's work? Glad John is doing well+sober. He can help me in the studio.

I sometimes feel art is supposed to be painful. Long periods of torture and self doubt.. occasionally glimpses of inspiration, to sucker you back in, keep the casino running with fresh hope.

To create is to squeeze something out. It costs something. Every birth requires a death. Art is born in blood. This is why artists are procrastinators and bullsh!tters... who looks forward to placing themselves on the altar for bloodletting? Naww.. tomorrow.. first I'll think of band names... yea tomorrow.

Art kills people all the time, or leaves them maimed.. or insane. Usually poor.

M, In R+R you need momentum. Gig after Gig. Most are bad. You need over-exposure. I was getting TICKED. Bands are impossible, even duos,

"Give me one good man,,,,,,,"

That is why you must explore ARTistic options. Theatre is more to my liking. ROCK was huge in these parts= 1970-1988? You need girls/women to play to.
By 1991-93 it was becoming all male audiences. That is terrible.

The local bar scene is a JOKE. Tired old wet-heads and preening kids. Most bars have WEd. open mics. Tribute bands on weekends. I had a GREAT crowd in 2008 at benefit. 30 women +60 guys. Oldheads, understood my '70's references i.e. Rollerball+Earl Anthony:dude:

My last show was sad. 10 people. Drunk and somewhat attentive. It was Oct 2012. ROCK was another diversion. SportsCenter+texting+ outside cigs were the main attraction. I played with Chernobal Disaster=20 -23 yr olds+ Lost Cause= 57 yr old singer:shock: + 35 somethings. NO HOT SINGLE GALS! Guys coughing. Check it out.

Tim I think the real reason why your last show had a low turnout of people was that people were preparing for Hurricane Sandy to hit.

T, it was several days before. I NEVER have good shows. The three "comeback" shows in 2008 were GREAT. In my prime=JUNK. 10-15 people. My farewell show in '93 was HUGE. 150 people Sabatinis Pizza.I don't translate well, FEZZ without backstory is weak. People see two beat-up OLD guys making noise<they don't know whether to laugh or cry?

Friday T, It was OK. I don't smoke or drink. I'm tired of that scene. I'm going back to poetry readings.

So now you are going to be Tim "Poet" Fezziwig man?

:laugh2:T, that has been my name all along. I want $ and billing . R+R has NEVER paid me. I've lost thousands in R+R. No more. I'm a brilliant artist. Not many left on planet CHEESE. I'm just writing and shooting "comedy" vids now. Why waste my time on R+R? I don't want to travel. DOPES can't be trusted to pilot planes now. I work from home.
