I'm funny. I get obsessed. I live the OBSESSION. The past 5 years I have LIVED+BREATHED R+R. Every spare moment.Tweaking set-lists,thinking of banter, ordering sharkskin jackets,,,,,,,,,,,

Today I awoke. No feedback in my ears. Fezz was at peace. Fezz represents the Dionysian side of me. Destructive +restless. I finally "reasoned" with him.

I fall into traps. I MUST do this or that. Becomes work. If one's hobbies create STRESS it is time to change-up.

John's brother, Chris Kickster x-SPACECHRIST guitarist, gave John his RD Artist. John made it passive. It has lovely tone. EVERYBODY gives John guitars. He is an OK guitarist,nothing special<GREAT BASSIST best in Philly<

M, In R+R you need momentum. Gig after Gig. Most are bad. You need over-exposure. I was getting TICKED. Bands are impossible,even duos,

"Give me one good man,,,,,,,"

That is why you must explore ARTistic options. Theatre is more to my liking. ROCK was huge in these parts= 1970-1988? You need girls/women to play to.
By 1991-93 it was becoming all male audiences. That is terrible.

The local bar scene is a JOKE. Tired old wet-heads and preening kids. Most bars have WEd. open mics. Tribute bands on weekends. I had a GREAT crowd in 2008 at benefit. 30 women +60 guys. Oldheads,understood my '70's references i.e. Rollerball+Earl Anthony

My last show was sad. 10 people. Drunk and somewhat attentive. It was Oct 2012. ROCK was another diversion. SportsCenter+texting+ outside cigs were the main attraction. I played with Chernobal Disaster=20 -23 yr olds+ Lost Cause= 57 yr old singer + 35 somethings. NO HOT SINGLE GALS! Guys coughing. Check it out.

T, it was several days before. I NEVER have good shows. The three "comeback" shows in 2008 were GREAT. In my prime=JUNK. 10-15 people. My farewell show in '93 was HUGE. 150 people Sabatinis Pizza.I don't translate well, FEZZ without backstory is weak. People see two beat-up OLD guys making noise<they don't know whether to laugh or cry?
