If you were to have only one guitar, what would it be?

I will be totally truthful. I have always loved my Les Paul's, both of them. But if it came down to just one guitar I would go with a Telecaster. I love my MIM Tele and I know that a lot of people would pick the MIM over the USA made but even so I would prefer a USA made version. I would even go with something made in the seventies or a little later. But the Telecaster gets my vote if I had only one guitar. I still love my LP though but I do play the Telecaster more. Hell I want another Tele even before I would buy another Strat to replace the one I gave to my son.

My strat or my resonator, depending on the state of the power grid.

That would be near impossible to do.

Today, if I had to pick just one, it would be my PRS Custom 22.

Too hard to choose...

If choosing with my head, for practicality and versatility my PRS Custom 24 with 57/08s.

If choosing with my heart my PRS Stripped 58, cos it plays and sounds awesome :)

And I'm really gassing for a a Gretsch 6120, when will this ever end?

I think I'd have to agree with Sir Paul. If I could only have one (difficult though that may be), it would be my Elitist Casino

The Santa Cruz dread on the right.
It's the best guitar I've ever laid hands or ears on.

Gibson ES-335 from 1958-1963. With PAFs or Patent Number pups. 75% to 90% less expensive than a Burst. Nearly as satisfying, and I can smile all the way to or from a bank.

I love my Les Paul. If I could only have one guitar though it would have to be a Tele for sheer indestructibility reasons.
