If you could have only one amp for your historic, which one would it be...

I often play other peoples amps and just use whatever backline is there. In the last couple of weeks I have played through a Blackface Fender Twin, a vintage MusicMan 2x12, a Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 and a Blackstar HT60 and every time the amp I wished I was playing into was my own which is this one

is that the monza?

I was looking at them.

Not many Mesa-Boogies here, but I really like the Lone Star (6L6 or EL34), and the Lone Star Special (EL84). They don't have the old boogie sound - it's more like the biggest Fender or Vox you ever heard...

My bandmate plays through a combination of a Mesa Boogie .50 cal., and a mid 70s Fender Twin. :wow:

I use a Mesa Lonestar Special very often, but fall in love with the classic Fender 5E3 circuit again.....:thumb:

Morgan Amps pair with Custom Shop Gibbys beautifully. Check 'em out, they do everything from 10W Voxy types to Marshall style 50 Watters. The DAG15 and the Dual 40 are my personal favs.
