Simple song, but fun to play because of audience response is "Honky Tonk Women". I played two gigs yesterday, and HTW lit the crowd up, as did "Free Ride". At last nights (late) gig I was amazed at how much people loved "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe". It's a great song, that I've always loved, but wasn't sure if the bar crowd would dig it. "Soulshine" is another favorite like that. Best audience response I ever had was from The Doobie Brothers "Takin' It To The Streets". It got us a standing ovation, and it was a real rush to see the crowd going nuts.
