I got rid of my last Les Paul a few months back. Still have an SG and a 335 though.

Even if I was fully Fender I would stay for the banter and cake

....then I'll have no reason to stay on a Les Paul forum, right? I should probably start formulating my exit rant speech now. I may ask for help on some spelling.

Your "level of suckage" is already at the max so why don't you go fuck yourself!

That's what I thought about my SLO's, too, but they all sprouted legs.

What are you potentially giving it up for?

My #1 is a Squire J Mascis Jazzmaster. Lps get played every now and then. I also use a Fender amp! Gibson is OK, they don't pay me to endorse and they surely are not "----------ing-" me.

I don't think there is a forum rule requiring members to own a Les Paul. The OP will have owned a n LP if he trades it off, and may well own one again. There is not reason for him to leave the forum, unless he just wants to do so.

A while back, I told my wife I was going to sell some gear and downsize my collection. I ended up trading for a Phaez amp. :laugh2:

I tend to favor amp purchases over guitar purchases lately, but after trading a few guitars and an amp on my Explorer and losing a ton, no way I'd trade that for a mere amp.

Unless it's a vintage and rare Marshall.
