Ice Tea

There is no rhyme or reason for this post. I have never had a guitar like my 2009 LP Standard in ice tea finish. It is so amazing, that I sometimes I think if I look at it hard enough, it will play itself. And the ice tea finish makes me thirsty. I just can't help but stare at it. I've had it for 4 months now and I'm still impressed with it.

I love how the lighting in this pic gives the burst a different color.

So is that guitar! I have a kinda similar-ish colour Epiphone and I think it looks so damn good I can't bring myself to sell it even though I'll never really use it any more (other, better guitars now). So I can imagine why you sit and stare at your Gibson!

yup. Because when I look at it, there isn't any red that bright...just a reddish-brown that becomes the ice-tea yellowish in the center.

i also love the Ice Tea finish on my Gibson Les Paul Standard (2007)

recently changed the gold speed knobs to amber speed knobs out of restlessness and they really make the ice tea finish pop

i know many people run hot or cold about amber knobs

i am glad i tried something new...

be-that-as-t-may, no wonder you cannot keep your eyes off your Lp because it is a looker
