That's why we love a finely finished top - in addition to the differences in individual guitars, they can look so different in different light. I took this in the same place as the others, but today the sun is filtered through high clouds. No flash (jury-rigged "tripod"), and an angle that hides almost all of the figuring. Compare the grain to 05hummer's - it's almost spookily similar. Notice how much of the red has gone bye-bye. You wouldn't see virtually any on the bottom edge, were it not for the case shadow.

Wow. Ive seen some nice guitars in person, but for some reason the pics you guys take always look as good if not better than in life.
