I had a few bad things happen on the ice in my day as a Zamboni operator, but nothing compared to what this guy had happen.:Ohno:

Kudos to the driver for getting that thing off the ice ASAP.

You can see the hydraulic fluid coming out almost as soon as he sets the conditioner down going forward.

I'm guessing the leak caused the fluid to spray onto the exhaust, and poof.
I had a line blow like that once. The leak was way worse than this one, but no pyrotechnics thankfully.

I actually kinda miss driving those things.

That actually happened when I used to play, back in the '90s.

Funnily enough, it was in the brand-new rink (we had 3), durring the vary first resurface. Almost burnt the place down. Thankfully, it happened off the ice, so after all was said and done, we were still able to play.

In the late '70s we were testing some crappy yellow fluid that was non-flammable. Tomcats leak, and the yellow stuff sucked. Back to the red, besides...it was easier to see the leaks.
