I guess he/she is trying to say that there is only one youtube video talking about the ibanez js 2450.

Maybe it's the high price tag that is deterring people from buying the guitar, hence, lacking more youtube videos talking about the JS 2450.

it's strange because when guitar heroes will sell the real models they use, there will be more "normal users"

i say that because VAi and Satriani play with a sustainer so, we wait for this and not a standard model without the cool features
whereas they have sustainer and other things
that's the problem with signature models
it will never be what the famous guitarists use

ihmo, Sat/Vai personal guitars are not as magical as you might think. Most of the "magic" are work of their guitar techs.

Look at Frankenstrat, it's a mutt assembled in the kitchen.

they add special features: out of phase, different pickups (Satriani played with 2 duncan's on stage)
now, it's the sustainer

Lukather had a sustainer too
i don't know a signature model which has a sustainer

i read that the Clapton model had not good electronic inside

About Vai, i am not a fan at all
the playing is awesome but i prefer fat tones even to play in this style
i prefer John Sykes, Gary Moore and Steve hackett (with floyd rose)

- with the js 2450, it's a beautiful guitar that nobody wants to buy lol

That 2450 is cool, but I really want the light blue JS with three single coils that he was playing on the Experience Hendrix Tour a few years back.

My friend just bought a JS2450, so people do buy them. More than I care to spend on that type of guitar, but it does play nice.
