hello
have you ever played with this guitar or js 1000 ?
do you prefer some CHarvel models (san dimas, so cal) ?
FLOYD ROSE SYSTEM:
i made a comparison with a floyd rose special (les paul pro fx) and a edge pro (ibanez js)
i have fun with it better than the JS
why?
- because with 2 springs, the floyd rose is easier to play than my JS with 3
(i don't know if a JS with 2 springs would be good)
-mahogany is THE SOUND and basswood is good but not awesome
- a floyd rose (even a floyd rose special) is better than an edge pro for the squeals? effects
no problem in every direction for every note and the body makes a very warm sound
i like the precision when i play with it
a lot of effects can be done
-ibanez js : the clarity of the notes is interesting but boring in the long run
i changed the fred pickup to a norton : it's good but the sound is still thin (like single coil)
i don't know if it 's the guitar
pickups
or a change ( i have high bas ?filter all time now even with a low volume at the volume knob )
