Not at all my cup of tea. Just goes to show ya--different strokes for different folks. I do admire the existence of amazing lumber like that though, I just wouldn't want it on a guitar.

I like it too. I'd prefer it in gloss without Murphy's contributions. The flame is insane.

You and FUS like it. I don't.

So it goes.

If you want it, why link us to the sale?

Here's another '06 Murphy with fairly wide flames that I nearly bought new but decided against due to the weight which was around 9.3 lbs as I recall. It was a beautiful guitar, but I have no regrets because I ended up with a 2005 Murphy which weighs in at 8.1 lbs and is an amazing guitar.

:wow: Those are the widest flames I have ever seen.
I would prefer it in lemon, but still a super cool guitar
Thanks for posting !! :thumb:

I don't personally dig that top... wouldn't pay more than 4k for this one (might still be a great guitar)

Those wide flames get very accentuated by the darker finish; I agree that they look much better in Lemonburst. Personally, I prefer the more subtle stuff....

It's interesting, I'll give it that.

I'm personally not a fan of that kind of flame though.
