Ok, so I'm building a kit, and I want to add a boost circuit to it like what's on my Les Paul Futura...replace one of the tone knobs with a push-pull pot, where in the down position, it functions like a tone control, but in the up position, it adds a clean boost.

I want this to be simple, as I'm not an expert when it comes to electronics, but I'm not scared to try anything, either. I've seen the Artec onboard boost, and I've seen some stuff from Guitarfetish. It's probably all made by Artec anyway, but the GFS stuff is 3 times as expensive, but neither are a push pull configuration. Does anyone know where to get what I'm looking for? If I can't get the push pull, I guess I could go with the Artec, do you think the artec is any good?

Try Gibson themselves. The TradProIIs come with them. Or look around for someone, like me, that had gutted a guitar with the toys.

Bottom left is the pot with the boost all as one unit. You can even get the TP2 rear cover and it holds the battery.

Thanks. I haven't even looked, but I'd bet that's the same setup as my Futura. Do you know where they source them from? I bet I could get something much cheaper if it doesn't say Gibson on it...

I´ve made an order today of a Artec QDD2 to my Les Paul, its more versatil, a bunch of tones in the most simple way.

Thanks, I did look at that one, too, but I'm not sure that's what I want, I don't really want to color my sound like I would expect that one to do

If I were you, I'd build a Super Hard On into the cavity. It's no bigger than a 10c piece (if you do the layout properly) and it can give you 25dB of boost.
