Not bashing Slash, he's got chops and tasty licks, but to say that he's the "Master Of The Bending" is IMO a serious overstatement.

Seriously, I'm with you. I am so sick of slash I can't take it. It's one of the main reasons I got rid of my epi plus top. When I played out everyone asked me if it was a slash. When I told them it wasn't they proceeded to tell me I should get one because slash is "freaking. awesome."
No... this is the Les Paul icon... and everyone else is just someone who plays a Les Paul model guitar.
a little props here. Remember when you saw the video for Sweet child o mine with slash sitting on the bed??? Then here it comes. Im sorry love him or hate him that was really really cool. I was never a big fan of GnR or Slash but when I hear his old stuff like that it takes me back and digs up memories. I mean I was a Dead Head. But everyone, eveyone was aware of GnR and could relate to some of there stuff. I was in high school then and sometimes its cool to hear something, see something, smell something that snaps back a memory that you didnt know what in there. So if everytime I hear that opening lick it makes me remember a fond memory of a time in my life that was a lot less complicated, then I owe Slash a bit of gratitude.
