anyone out there cut stencils? i need one of the script that will go around my artwork on the back of my serial number one that will go to my church if i ever can get it painted. been waiting on a stencil that doesn't seem like will ever get done. the pic gives a fair idea of what the script will look like and can furnish a better pic when we complete our computer change over.

what i'm interested in is the oval script that will surround the lion to be done in a font as close as the one in the pic. thanks.

I might be able to hook you up on this. How big of a stencil are we talking about? I can make it in a low tack adhesive vinyl mask.

Sounds like Knievel has you hooked up. :thumb: If for some reason
it doesn't work out, send me a pm. I do these all the time.

FYI, I made my own stencil by printing on a thicker piece of paper, like card stock, when
I built my "Envy" telecaster. Just took an exacto knife and time. Just throwin' it out in
case you don't find what you need.

Wow, amazing work! The first pic is a little scary, with the dye for the tongue. And almost seems a bit unfortunate that you had to place it in a spot that is usually only visible from the player's belt buckle. How'd you do the burst rays?

thanks, guys. the sunburst rays was real technical. I bought a can of gold lacquer from hobby lobby and misted the base coat on, then sprayed some in the cup of my air brush and added a drop of black tint and got a metal ruler and layed it down and airbrushed my lines.

as far as cutting the stencil by hand, there is entirely too many small intricate cuts for me to pull it off and get the look i'm needing. i've seen laser stencil cutters work and that would be superb. i want it nice and clean, but of course, i'll come in and mess it up anyway, but that's the goal.

i'll get that pic posted soon and anyone interested can pm me an estimate.

thanks again.
