Pics please.

Seriously. It would be wonderous to see a family shot!

I posted some in this thread that were on this laptop. I doubt the newer laptop has any as I just got that one about 15 months ago.

Taking a group shot would be hard as I'm not going to move the 300 lb coffee table to get them all on and in front of the couch lol.

And because I'm a dick, here's an SG to make you toss your lunch.
The Gibson SG-100 and SG-200 from 1971.
It’s as if someone at Gibson said, “Let’s take one of the most elegant guitars we have and make it into a real heavy pig.

The guy who replaced me in one band had one. He actually sounded good on it.

I think that an SG with an ABR bridge and brass TP, and with a maple cap might be the perfect solid body guitar. I wish Gibson would make an SG like that

2019 SG HD also had a maple cap and a bunch of features you might not want.

Well, now, that may be something I will look for. My 61 SG has a slim enough neck for me, but it is a bit too wide..if this model has the Same slim neck but not so wide, I may have my next guitar, search.

Or maybe my PRS guitars with double cut, mahogany body, maple set neck, ebony board, maple top, etc are the real answer to “The Perfect SG” IDK, but about 12 years ago, I presented specs for a custom guitar to a luthier. Basically what I described above. Thicker body with maple cap, cost estimated at $1800. Well I found an PRS SE with all qualifications for a bit over $700, and it is my “go to” guitar today.

Have the original SG LP. One owner 1961 Standard,I bought new in November 1961. It is a case queen now, as it has two problems (IMHO). First, it has the side pull trem, which anchors the strings at what passes for a tailpiece into a spring loaded device. This sucks tone. I would get rid of the trem, but this guitar has acquired collectors value as is, and I don’t want to disturb that. Second, I feel that the body lacks the mass needed to get my preferred tones at low volumes, at which I always play these days. Oh, at mid-size venue volumes it sounds great, as the amplified sound seems to energize the body into incredible tone and sustain. Actually, I suspect that Gibson included that trem, in part, to reduce neck dive that some SGs have, as it is a heavy device at the rear bout. Actually, I think that an SG with an ABR bridge and brass TP, and with a maple cap might be the perfect solid body guitar. I wish Gibson would make an SG like that, but it doesn’t. PRS comes close, and thus my PRS is my “go-to” guitar.

Mojoaxe makes a kit that lets you keep the sideways trem but blocks the mechanism to turn it basically into a stop tail. They’re not especially pricey and non invasive to install and remove later to go back to stock. Supposed to be a good fix for the tuning issues and I can see how it could add some resonance to the tone as well.

I like it btw, looks like real aging where the finish is getting a ‘pit stain’ effect.

Those jersey guys do rad work.
